Welcome to KindHaus®

Step into an oasis for modern parents where flexible workspace meets flexible childcare. Think, relaxed work areas, barista-made specialty coffee, wellness classes, inspiring talks, and community with other purpose driven, creative parents. All while we take care of the kids.

KindHaus parents can access flexible childcare/work packages that adapt to their unique schedules, goals and budgets. Modern parenthood demands modern solutions.

Our impact

KindHaus is a social impact business. We are on a mission to tackle gender inequalities in the UK by empowering women with services that help improve financial, social and emotional wellbeing. 25% of our spaces are dedicated to women from low income backgrounds.

Redesigning childcare

At KindHaus we believe quality childcare is essential infrastructure that enables people to work and pursue their ambitions while raising a family. Unfortunately, in its current form, the UK's broken childcare system is not working for many parents, providers, Early Years professionals and in some cases, children - especially those in disadvantaged areas. Quality childcare is core to the KindHaus offering. We are redesigning the childcare model to meet the needs of a modern society and to ensure childcare is not a barrier to participation in the workforce.

Ann-Marie Kinlock, Mother and Founder

Ann-Marie Kinlock is the Founder of KindHaus, a modern high street offering that blends flexible childcare, workspace, wellness, and hospitality to create an inclusive, transformative experience for modern parents.

Ann-Marie launched KindHaus after much investigation in to the Motherhood Penalty, Baby brain development, Matrescence, and the UK's broken childcare system. On realising many of the contributors to maternal mental health issues, the gender pay-gap, and gender inequality were systemic and structural, Ann-Marie set about creating a solution.

KindHaus was an instant hit when they launched a 6-month pilot on a busy high street in Stoke Newington, London in 2023. Building on that success, Ann-Marie has gone on to raise investment for a new high street site in the London Borough of Hackney.

Ann-Marie's vision is to bring KindHaus to every parent navigating the early years, in every borough in London, and to help transform urban spaces into places where families flourish, with a special focus on supporting mothers and children experiencing poverty.

Previously, Ann-Marie worked in financial services and consumer goods leading user experience design for Barclays, Samsung and Adidas. She studied at Kingston University and holds a Bachelors with Honours in Interdisciplinary Design.

Blending her lived experience as a mother with a 15-year career in human centred design, Ann-Marie and her team are poised to transform the modern parent experience in the UK. Connect on LinkedIn
